Competition European Design Awards 2012

Czech representatives in the competition of European Design Awards in 2011 again won several awards. The process of logging
The competition will be accepted only work if the application is filed and the filing fee paid by 29 February. The organizers reserve the right to extend the period for accepting applications. The competition can be entered only works that were created in 2011.

Register on the website www.europeandesign.org , create a new application (Account> Submissions> Create New), enter all relevant data such as category, name, name of client, designer and others., and only in English. Meet the requirements for each category, so you know exactly what you need to send the contest. This is usually the work itself and a CD or DVD with a picture or photo in high resolution. Each work must be sent to the code under which the work is registered. The work should be sent to European Design, Sokratous 157, 17673 Kallithea, Athens, Greece so as to be received by 29 February 2012. If the organizer does not receive a shipment of entries, it shall immediately inform the competitor. Information on acceptance of your work can be found by logging onto the web ED Awards.

Winners will be announced at a gala evening in May 2012 in Helsinki. All winners will be informed about the success of the 14th April 2012. Gold and silver winners will (at their own expense) invited to Helsinki, where they will be handed over to the podium price. All winners will be presented in the catalog ED Awards, for which they are entitled free of charge (excluding postage).

  • The fee for one entries is € 120 (€ 147.60 incl. 23% Greek VAT ) or € 96 from five or more submissions (20% discount). The fee can be paid online by credit card, PayPal account, offline credit card or bank transfer.

In the category of school projects, the fee is reduced to 40 € (49.20 incl. VAT ). This category is not applicable volume discount. For student applications to other categories of average charges apply.

According to Greek legislation is necessary for all amounts attributable to the Greek VAT . Payers of VAT in the Member countries of the EU may request a refund of VAT local tax office. If necessary, contact European Design.

RETURN OF EXHIBITS
All materials sent to the address of the organizer become its property and can not be returned.

RIGHTS OF REPRODUCTION
Can be registered only those works where participation in the competition or the client agrees to a given holder part. The organizers reserve the right to publish entries in the catalog ED Awards, visit ED Awards, the promotional material and exhibitions. There will always be given a designer and design company. The organizer also reserves the right to create photographs and video footage of the awards ceremony.

METHOD OF LOGGING

CATEGORY
The organizer and jury reserves the right to move entries to other categories of work, if necessary.

FEES
When paying by card takes all the European Design fees. When paying by bank transfer fees paid by the participant.

CANCEL
Participants may cancel at any time, sent to work until the hearing of the jury. If canceled before the end of work period for acceptance of the work, fees will be refunded. 15% fee will be charged to cover transaction and administrative costs.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES OF COMPETITION
By submitting competition entries showing entrants consent to the rules. Disagreement with rules leads to automatic disqualification from the competition.
