This post is a kind of "Note for later" to keep his elbow a few online tools that I use regularly or that I rediscovered recently. They allow you to share snippets of code, take notes, create think-beasts, backup your bookmarks, share texts, validate your prose (CSS, HTML, XML, RDF), placing the false-text and false images (placeholders) in your web pages. All spread between web development and publishing & collaboration.
Web Development- 1. jsfiddle - Ideal for sharing snippets of code or implement tests with HTML, CSS, JQuery (or Mootools, etc..). See also: JS Bin , Pastie , Pastebin .
- 2. MarkUp Validator - useful for testing the validity of your HTML (but also XHTML, SMIL, MathML) as specified by the W3C . Other validation tools exist, including for compliance of CSS , RDF , RSS , XML . As for Link Checker , it will let you check if your site contains links that no longer work; Semantic Extractor will show you your pages in terms of semantics.
- 3. HTML-Ipsum - Of course, nothing beats the final text. But until you provide your client does the Holy Grail of Web design (content), here is a resource to keep below the elbow to create HTML blocks (paragraphs, unordered and ordered lists, definition lists, forms, titles and paragraphs of varying length, etc..), with the false text. - 4. Lorempixel - Choose an image size and a consistent theme with the topic of your site (among the 11 available), then click Image color or gray level to obtain a visual placement to enhance your pages filled with Lorem Ipsum. See also Placekitten, Dummyimage or Placehold.it .
- 5. CSSLisible - Straight out of the lab Darklg , this tool rearranges your CSS and change the order of properties for easy reading (and maintenance) of your stylesheets. Attention, for now, comments are removed! See also Styleneat .
- 6. PunyPNG - Image compression is going well. This tool optimizes your images by reducing considerably smaller without losing quality. See also Smush.it .

- 1. Markdown Editor - I have adopted the syntax Markdown for several years to take notes and structured them into ticket via the excellent plugin on Save Markdown for WordPress. - 2. Diigo - I looked for a solution alternative to bookmarks Delicious when Yahoo looked for buyers, a few months ago. I regularly use the Diigolet to save my links, take notes and share them on social networks. Function automatically records the links on Delicious. You can find me on my Diigo account . - 3. Notepad.cc - Mini online editor, like Notepad of Windows. Ideal for sharing notes, or not protected by password.
- 4. Ta-da List - Create lists of things to do, reorder items, share lists, etc.. A site todolist simple and efficient for us, who have always so much to do to before yesterday ^ __ ^
- 5. Writeboard - A handy tool to write and edit text in multiple. Each "Board" is accessible via a URL. The revisions are listed in the margin with the names of those who made changes. You can subscribe to the RSS feed for updates made to documents.
- 6. Doodle - Organize meetings, meetings, creating surveys to know the time convenient to the greatest number of participants. Tabular view (list) or Calendar view for an overview of events and availability.

- 1. Ping.eu - or almost all know about an IP address or domain name: Ping, Traceroute, DNS lookup, WHOIS, Port check, Reverse lookup, Proxy checker, mail relaying, Bandwidth Meter, Network calculator, Network mask calculator, Country by IP, Unit converter!
