Determine what content is relevant to the position

Filled under: ,

It happens that sometimes developed a long article and did not get the position we have chosen key phrase.

This is important to note that sometimes the length of the article does not mean having a better positioning, google actually what you resolve most valued is what the user is looking on google and often not an article.
Determine what content is relevant to the position
An example, if a user searches for "hotels in Pakistan" very probably looking for:

  • Names of Hotels (not one but several)
  • Descriptions (which contain ratings and photos) and
  • Rates (preferably cheap)
  • Shopping Cart (so that you can buy already)

So this key phrase "Hotels in Pakistan" could hardly attack with an article, it makes sense that pages are positioned for this search are websites that meet the 4 points that have been discussed before, have a friendly interface for user and have a recognized brand trusted. That same would apply to key phrases like "Rent a car Madrid", "Car Barcelona", ...

Another case different is that we want to place such "Analysis of Gears of War" or "Face celulutis" in these cases is more likely to get key phrase addressing positioning as an article. But the methodology is always the same, you should get in the user's site and think about what you're going to put the user to stay:

  • Right length of excessive text is worthless if the user gets scared and leaves.
  • Embed multimedia, image and video is much more visual than text and can make the user stay to read the article.
  • Put social markers indicate that the user has liked.
  • Avoid intrusive banners
  • Watch the image from your site that is professional and trustworthy.

have to differentiate a post comes in handy for positioning, but maybe what the guy is looking for a list. relevant content need not be a post

  1. Furthermore, especially in the case of users who are looking for products or services, they appreciate that the texts are concise, clear and concrete, which requires us to be much more accurate at the time of writing.

A good example is the number of items that exist about SEO or web, as there are a myriad of viewpoints addressed.

  2. Very interesting article.
But I wonder Google this principle, according to which you must resolve what the user is looking for ... I doubt that the search can be as homogeneous. Although the user has come looking to rent a car in Barcelona to a page whose content is just optimized ... The users purchase the same.
imagined-protocol provided by Google, does not fit the expected thousands of hits or actual use do visitors.

  3. Good point of view, I think you hit the nail, so today is not to have more content is better, if not give what you looking for or want the user.

  5. There is no-doubt that content is most important and most relevant thing to get response from search engines as well as from users. Now a days i personally trying to write content for website's pages and i am following just one rule which is that my content is for visitors not for search engines. I am trying to make it unique and easy and i hope it will help me to make my website better.
